St. Stephen's University

The town boasts its own university. St. Stephen's University occupies several 19th and early 20th century buildings and is currently expanding both its campus and its programs of study. Historic Park Hall (c. 1865) and the nearby Gov. Todd Mansion (1895) provide academic and residential facilities for up to 80 full-time students. A large brick residence at 18 St. Croix Street was opened in 1997 as the N.D. Lea Centre for Ministry Studies. The Campus also includes the adjacent Mann house at 14 St. Croix.

The University currently offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with several areas of concentration available in the liberal arts. Graduate level programs leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Ministry and Master of Ministry are also offered - both on a full-time, residential basis, and on a part-time, extramural basis.
